About Us
The Chicago Model Masters has a history that spans 6
decades. Over the years however, one thing has remained constant: Our love
for Model Aircraft. Whether it be Radio Control, Control Line, or just plain
building, we have always had a deep and abiding passion for the hobby. For a
narrative history of the Chicago Model Masters,

The age of our membership ranges from teens to senior
citizens and the experience level varies from total beginners to modelers
with over 50 years of experience. We are also proud to count an original
member of The Tuskegee Airmen, Dan Williamson,
among our membership. (Click here to learn
more about Dan) We are active participants in local,
regional, and national events and our members are well-known in the modeling
community.
Our flying field is Kickapoo Woods, located at the West
side of Halsted Street at 144th Street, in Riverdale Illinois. We routinely
hold family events and we welcome visitors to come and see us in action. We
meet on the first Saturday of every month at Saint James Church, 11760 S.
Lowe in Chicago. Meetings start at 7PM.
Please check our events calendar
